Congrats on the new horn! The new Buffet Bass Clarinets are amazing.
Outside of the standard stuff you'd do for your other horns, I wouldn't
worry too much about it. I've had my bass clarinet go through some pretty
extreme conditions and I've never had anything happen to it. I would keep a
humidifier in the case (as I'm sure you do with your soprano clarinets) and
make sure that humidity/temperature changes don't happen really quickly.
ie. don't blow through a really cold horn that has come from a case without
a humidifier in it.
