Hi Alisa,

You must be kidding. The plight of church orchestras in my area leads the
directors in one of two directions: (1) forget about hoping ever to be
able to organize one or (2) try to do it and welcome anyone willing to
volunteer. The Advent orchestra with which I am rehearsing at this time
has one violin, a bass viol, four flutes, two clarinets, an alto saxophone,
a tuba, a trombone, a xylophone and a piano.

Where do you live and which church orchestra has become an exclusive
organization?
