Hi there,

I've found the Ridenour line is very good, it has high
quality mouthpieces with several sizes of openings. I
tried a few out and found two, one was actually the
student line he produces. I plan on buying the other
with a barrel that works better with it.

If it has a narrow opening be sure to use reeds
slightly harder than the ones you used previously, and
perhaps work on your breath control. Remember, too,
that the pressure from your embouchure should go on
the top of the mouthpieces so that you are not biting
and you don't have to necessarily "drop" your jaw.
Leave it but use less pressure.

Also, remember that you have a sound....once you have
developed it, the mouthpiece does not change so much
to the listener as it does to the performer. Whatever
feels best to you is really the best mouthpiece for
you. Try a bunch out and see what works, and be wary
of recommendations since everyone has their favorites
;-)

Yours,
Mark
