hey there aimee. i don't know what to tell you.
richard hawkins mouthpieces, i believe, are really
good mouthpieces. i play on one too and i don't find
the opening narrow. vandorens, i believe, are worse
when it comes to that. you can try the gigliotti
mouthpieces but i would stick with the hawkins. just
because i know you so well, i think that it'll do you
good. there is a good chance that your reed isn't
lined up well or that your reed strength might add to
the difficulty. try it out for a little bit. you can
actually get a big sound off of the hawkins, i do and
you know it. :)
