This reminds me of great race car drivers - those who can communicate with
their mechanics about subtle changes and problems with the machinery. Most
of the best drivers are fair mechanics, and many of the best mechanics are
fair drivers. Perhaps that's what enables the synergy between the driver and
mechanic, or, very common in the music world, the synergy between a piano
technician and pianist.
