Forgive me if this post comes out a bit weird or something. I am posting using
my gentleman friend's mail client, Netscape. It is quite different from OE6.

I was under the impression the the states could not make such laws and that the
National Anthem, though available in an "official" version from the Federal
governemnt (Heaven only knnows how many times I played THAT!), coould be
performed in any way whatsoever by a civilian citiczen.

I should go look up statutes relating to the performance of the anthem. Would
make for some interesting reading, no doubt.
