Clark,

My phone is 506 463 2750. We are one hour ahead of NYC.

Copying existing reamers is no problem.

Cylinderical reamers are typically sharpened only on the cutting end thus
the finished hole size remains the same. Sharpening the side flutes will
always reduce the finished hole size.

A tapered reamer can have its side flutes sharpened. It they are sharpened
evenly the taper is maintained. The reamer simply goes a little deeper on
its flutes.

Tapered MP reamers can be usually be sharpened but it's trickier.
