This is correct, they are Prestiges like the RC. Supposedly with a more
"german" bore (dark sound, HiHi) .
I own and use a pair of DG's. They were sold out here about a year ago for
about 1800$ a piece. I was able to choose from a large stock of DGA's that
were remarkably different to my and my advisors ears.
Quite a few professionals in Switzerland and elsewhere bought them but the
market was too small for Buffet.
I like them very much and got excellent instruments for reasonnable money.
My inquiries never met adequate information as to what exactly the
differences of this model are, say compared to a standard RC. Buffet Germany
wrote me, that this instrument "is particularly suitable for the classical
player" (HoHo).
Cordially,
Thomas Schaffner
