Subj: [kl] Colo Springs thanks Dr. Raphael Sanders and Mr. Francios Klok
Date: Sun, 18 Nov 2001 09:44:33 -0500

I didn't get to learn double tonguing from Dr. Sanders when I went back
to Graner Music yesterday to have Mr. Klok adjust my C-clarinet, but I
did play a couple of Brazillian tunes for them on the C-clarinet, and
Raphael played a hand drum for a while. Francios was wearing a gorgeous
pink shirt, and I tried to get him to do the samba while he was fixing
clarinets. I had a wonderful day, and I decided that if I ever do decide
to get a master's degree in clarinet performance, I will go to Las Vegas
and study with Dr. Sanders. He says they have excellent tutors there for
folks who are "academically challenged" in Music Theory and Music
History.
Anyhow, I want to thank the Boosey & Hawkes company for sending
Raphael and Francios to Colorado Springs. ANNIE
