But Ockam's razor says something different:

"Non sunt multiplicanda entia praeter necessitatem"

...or as Einstein put it, things should be made as simple as possible,
but not any simpler.

Hume on the other hand says that it is certain that the generality of
mankind will always want things to be simpler than possible.
