Okay. Today I sat down to do what I love to do and it was havoc (I must
have been mentally tired...eyes would not stay focused...mind wandering more
than normal). Even slowing down just to use the valuable time as
muscle-memory reinforcement was an arduous task.

So I did some long-tones (because I could close my eyes and not have to
focus them on anything) and then sat down to score study and excerpts on
CDs.

Better things I could have done? Serious inquiry.
