Going along with what Walter said: if the notes that are flat in pitch
are, indeed, the throat tones, all can have their tuning changed without
effecting the tuning of anything else. (Remember that the "throat tones"
are an upward extension of the fundamental register, and as such, are
not commonly used as regular fingerings in the overblown register.)

If we are talking throat tones, open G can be made sharper by raising
the height of the top ring key. The G# and A keys can also be set to a
more open setting. Doing so to all three will affect and raise the
tuning of Bb.

A shorter barrel will also raise these notes, but will cause the top of
the second register to go sharper, as well.
