Curt Altarac asks about Tarogato recordings.

A few years ago, I got a wonderful CD of tarogato music played by Csaba Nagy
on Hungaroton CD number HCD 31924. He plays in a Westernized, classical
style with a tone that's simultaneously woody and creamy.

For the wilder, traditional style, one place to look is the website for Lark
In the Morning, which has lots of CDs of non-Western music.
