Yucel, I agree very strongly with what Audrey had to say; it's never too late
to start clarinet. . I started 3 1/2 years ago at age 64, and it has been a
wonderful and rewarding experience. I also agree that a teacher is a good
idea; it will make the process easier and more enjoyable. I also suggest that,
whatever clarinet you buy or rent, you purchase a good quality mouthpiece. It
need not be very expensive and there are some excellent suggestions about good
beginner mouthpieces in the clarinet archives. Good luck. Frank
