Yucel,
Welcome to the discussion group! Take it from me - it is *never* too late to
learn clarinet. I started studying clarinet at age 50, almost 5 years ago.
It has been the best gift I ever gave myself. Neither do I have any
expectations of being a virtuoso, but the sound of clarinet is in my head, my
heart and my soul, and my studies with my clarinet teacher have opened up a
new and immensely satisfying world of classical and chamber music. One of the
great joys of my life is playing simple chamber music with others. I say to
you - follow your heart, follow your dream. Also, get yourself a professional
teacher - you will never regret it! Spend the money to get yourself the best
clarinet you can afford (you might be able to rent one to start with), and
search out a good teacher, starting with the clarinetists in your local
symphony orchestra (if there is one nearby).

Good luck, Yucel, and let us know what you decide to do!
