From: "Robert Moody" <LetsReason@-----.com> Subj: [kl] Looking for a specific piece Date: Sat, 10 Nov 2001 15:43:06 -0500
Dr. Stephen Johnston was commenting in my lesson today concerning a piece
he had heard Howard Klug play in a ClarinetFest in Europe (Belgium, I think)
some years ago. He said it was a transcription, but I cannot remember the
composer. I believe it was a Violin sonata in either the late Baroque or
Early classical period.
Professor Klug, if you remember which piece I might be talking about, or if
anyone else here knows what I'm speaking of, please let me know the name of
it and how I might get a copy. Dr. Johnston seemed quite pleased with not
only the performance, but with the arrangement and would like to have it in
his library one day.
I would like to procure it for him as a gift. Any help would be
appreciated.
Robert
