I had looked at minidisc recorders a year or so ago and I was looking for
the ability to get the recorded audio into my computer digitally to burn to
regular cds. Thinking that it is primarily a recording device rather than
a playback device I can't see why one would want to write an mp3 to a
minidisc. On the models I looked at then it appeared that the only method
of transfer into the computer was via analog through the sound card. Is
that the case or am I confused?
