The world premiere MIDI Karaoke performance of this grand work took place
last night and everything went O.K. until the fifth movement, the Scherzo.
I had forgotten to put in the "da capo" and the thing suddenly ended while
I continued to toodle. What a humiliation. Some guy in the audience got
up and started beating on the head of the person in front of him, shouting,
"You forgot the D.C., play the D.C.!" Where was Igor when I needed him?
Anyway, the whole thing takes a little over 50 minutes at the tempos I've
assigned to the MIDI files. I'll have another go at it this evening and
then release it on my Web page. Free tickets for tonight's performance are
available to my adoring fans as penance for last night's disaster.
