I think it would be interesting also. Of course many players studdied with more than one teacher. I guess you could put them in line with their main teacher, but there are some who would fit under two or maybe even more.
I did have a teacher in college who once answered my question about something we were working on with "I studied with Hasty who studied with (etc. etc.) who studied with Klose. Are you going to argue with Klose?"
I told him that I didn't wamt to argue with Klose, I just wanted to know why Klose decided to play it that way. My teacher was not amused at first, but then hedecided that I was truly wanting to to be a better musician and not a smart ass. After that we had a great relationship.
