I am confused. (Not for the first time; but for the first time today.) I
have seen and played clarinets by Wurlitzer (I don't know which one) and
by Hammerschmidt - all in the late 60's. All of them were (as I
recall) the same system described to me as Schmidt Reform Boehm. Is there
a difference I have missed here? How is Schmidt-Kolbe different from
Reform Boehm?

The Schmidt-Kolbe system was made by Fritz Wurlitzer/Erlbach till 1974 (see
>his catalogue from 1957), Herbert Wurlitzer/Bubenreuth (till appr. 1964) and
>Karl Hammerschmidt/Burgau till appr. 1972, this system has died now. The
>reform-Boehm system was more succesfull and is till now popular for
>professional use in the Netherlands and maybe some other countries.
