I had the opportunity to play several in 1968. I'd have bought a pair; but
$2000 US was a bit much then. What I remember best about them was the
smooth , very homogenous sound from one end of the range to the other. One
of the horns I played had been cracked and pinned: but the acoustics did
not seem to suffer.
