I read a post some time ago by Tony Pay who, (I'll be corrected if I'm
wrong) was talking about puting wax? in tone holes of a period instrument
for tuning. Or was it blu-tack? Can wax and blu-tak be used, and if so, is
tape better? I imagine it is quite difficult to insert the tape? ?? Gavin
