Be careful. All I described was the difference between French-cut and
NON-French-cut reeds. German-cut reeds are another thing entirely, sized
to fit the different-width German style mouthpiece. I suppose it is
technically possible to have a French-cut German-cut clarinet reed, but it
would likely have a very thick accent!
