WE are preparing the same piece in our Wind Symphony, and I play Eb. It is
my first semester playing but isn't this a fun piece?!!!! Fortunatly my
clarinet teacher from home is a Klezmer Clarinetist.

Since we're discussing eefer parts... Our Wind Ensemble is currently
preparing Adam Gorb's "Yiddish Dances". If you haven't played it yet, it's
a
really fun piece with a great, highly soloistic, Eb part. It goes up to
high
G, but when that happens you're doubling flutes (tuning! eek!). The solo
sections don't go above high E. There's a very cool duet in one movement
between the Eb and a solo Bb, and, of course, the whole thing is to be
played
with a klezmer flair. Tons of fun! (For you conductor types, you also need
soloists on trumpet, flute, trombone and alto sax.)
