This reminds me of my piano teacher who had saved the "black star"
which was included in every box for particularly poorly prepared
practice work. He has a wonderful sense of humour! His version of
your technique was using thanksgiving "turkey" stickers for the same
purpose. Unfortuantely, I was too old for stickers when I studied
with him!
