I had a chance to try a number of fox's instruments and modifications
in Vancouver. His basset clarinet extension for the Buffet R-13 A was
amazing! (If only I could justify the expense, but it was still much
more affordable than a whole basset clarinet) The holes in the bell
really made a difference, and I wish I had them in my R-13 A barrel.
