I would also be interested in peoples approaches and successes at recording
at home and what equipment they used. What problems did you encounter and
how did you overcome them?

Currently I have:

Cheap lapell mic...cane with SmartMusic
SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 w/ LiveDrive!
Software for effects (reverb, remove extraneous noise, etc.)
SmartMusic w/assortment of accomp.s
CD Burner

Any suggestions would be appreciated. If you like, I can send up to my web
site a couple Weber Grand Duo Concertant and Stravinsky Three Pieces
excerpts to see what I am currently getting. Maybe some advice from there
to improve quality of recording (not playing...that's a lost cause!).
