Magnus,

I think the best person to answer your question might be the dentist then.

If the pressure was affecting the one tooth in a bad way, then the dentist
would probably recommend to repair the shorter tooth in order to make them
both even so as to not put too much stress on just one tooth.

The benifit to be gained may be more for the health of the one tooth, than
your playing.
