I am currently awaiting the arrival of a barrel for my Eb made by Steve Fox.
For the last few years i've put up with a sharp set-up on my 1965 Series 9
Eb but decided it was time to get be able to play better in tune without
havingto pull out a couple of millimeters. So i sent Steve my barrel and
he's making a reverse taper barrel about 2.5mm longer than the existing
barrel. Can't beat the price either. CA$90 for a wood barrel (in the US$50
range). I'll keep you posted when i get the barrels back. If it's anything
like his whole clarinets, i'm sure it will be a wonderful piece.

I tried the Chadash barrels for my Patricola eefer...let me just say it
didn't work for me. I guess the bore and barrel bore dimensions are just
way too off.
