Thanx Mark. Maybe I am "barking up the wrong tree", but merely submitting
my article to him may get it placed there, but who has reviewed it? He has,
or maybe a colleague or two. While I'm certain to respect his opinions, I
want to know for sure that a variety and significant number of pedagogues
and performers have agreed that the article should be posted as I present
it. The reaction I get when I tell people about my success with this
approach is invariably "No way!" or "I doubt it." In either case, if what I
say is true, then a detailed explanation and demonstration of this approach
really should be made available to teachers of clarinet. I think members of
this list are a viable and respectable committee, so-to-speak.

I certainly hope that Stan would not be offended by my requesting that the
List members approve my article before submission. Certainly, I will submit
it in the usual way afterwards, if he prefers it. Nevertheless, I will do
so after review and approval by a majority of active list members. Stan can
then decide whether my needs offend him such as to not put the article up.

I appreciate your input and I will drop him a line concerning this idea. As
usual, you are succinct and on the money.

Robert
