Another alternative fingering for this D, that you can use to good
effect in the Stravinsky 'Three Pieces', is:

G# /
x
x
o
Eb

On the last line of the third piece, this enables you to keep the LH
little finger down while playing the FDF hemidemisemiquaver triplet.

I once heard someone play this immaculately, I thought, in a class.
"Oh, you know the trick," I said. "Could you explain it to those here
who don't know it?"

She looked a bit embarrassed.

"Don't worry, I'm not criticising you," I said.

"Well," she said,

"....I just play an E instead of an F for the middle note of the
triplet!"

It wasn't the trick I was thinking of, but I have to admit it's very
difficult to hear the difference at speed.
