Well, I've only had my Eb for a couple of weeks as I have been waiting since
May for it to come in. At the moment I'm getting alot of use out of it in
University ensembles as I seem to be the only person in the university who
owns an Eb clarinet (in this, they also assume I can play it well!)

I currently play in a non-auditioned wind orchestra that plays pieces such
as Arnold's Scottish Dances and Hart's (?) Cartoon. In the auditioned
Symphonic Wind Ensemble, we are playing Atnold's Cornish Dances and Saint
Saens Orient and Occident and we have a new commision by Ellerby to look
forward too next term. I am yet to see any of this music, so I don't know
what the Eb parts are like.

In the Symphony Orchestra, there is a very tricky looking Eb part in
Walton's Belshazzar Feast that should be interesting to play. Again, we've
only just tsarted rehearsals, so I've not seen much of the music, but I'll
be sure to let you know how it goes when we get to it

Thanks

Debbie
