I just orered a brand new RC Prestige C clarinet so that I can play
Brazillian music easier, as most of the fake books are written in
concert pitch and I can't sightread and transpose at the same time,
especially with all those arpeggiated passages & syncopated rhythms. I
will have to memorize the tunes on C clarinet.
Anyhow, I have been ecstatically delighted with my single BAM extra
light case, because of it's portability. I would love to have a nice,
light double case, for Bb and C clarinets. I just emailed Carole at
bam.cases@-----. Haven't heard
back yet. If she says "no" than what about FEL? Do they do any custom
jobs? I can't find their website. I suppose that the Wiseman cases are
way too bulky for what I want. I just want to throw the case on my back
and run directly to the gig with no hassles or sore arms. ANNIE
