Thanks for the heads-up. Sadly, at that same time, a few of us in the Los
Angeles area will be attending a memorial service for local clarinetist and
jazz saxophonist, Sam Karam, who was only 28 years old when MS took him from
us last month. Sam was a graduate of the Idyllwild Arts Academy and Julliard
having studied with Phillip Rehfeldt, William Powell, Donald Montanaro, and
Charles Neidich. He will be missed.
