Dan, it's the Broude Brothers edition of the K361. I hope that's the good
one.

The suggestion about bass clarinet is really great---I had not looked at the
parts yet and didn't know the range. I have several really fine bass
clarinet players available, so that's what I think I will try. Unless it
astonished you in a bad way.....

Our band, Central FL Winds, is really fine,and the director is anxious to
widen out with chamber music, particularly the larger ensembles, which do not
get performed around here enough. The last time I heard the Gran Partita was
in 1991! The concert in question at which we are playing the Mozart is a
benefit for someone with cancer. We are also doing the Dvorak Serenade Op.
44 and the Strauss Op.7---a heavenly concert all the way around!
