Most current e-mail technology allows for automated deletion of messages
from a particular sender without the need of opening and/or reading them.
And there's no telling who you may have to deal with in a social or
professional capacity.

Those who think that it is censorship (rather than self-protection) to
exclude people from a forum who engage in inflammatory behavior should read
Mr. Pay's comments very carefully. In addition, they should start counting
how many people drop out of klarinet each day.

I am leaving the forum now, and will check in again in a few months to see
if the level of civility has increased.

I've enjoyed the useful information I have found here. However I am not
interesting in participating in any discussion group in which such
mean-spirited nastiness is considered acceptable behavior. To say that I
can delete the messages from jerks like Pay begs the point. I still have to
read them before I delete them. And I also read the anger and hurt feelings
he leaves in his path. I can only feel grateful that I will never have to
deal with this person in any social or professional capacity. And now, by
unsubscribing, I can feel the satisfaction of knowing that I won't have to
read his response to my message. Pay: you are an unmitigated ass!

By all,
