I play a good deal of Eb clarinet and have tried a number of mouthpieces.
Again, it's a very individual thing. Some mothpieces are designed for Bb
reeds, others just don't play well with anything but Eb reeds.
You could probably get contact information for Ralph Morgan and ask him if
he designed his mouthpieces for a particular reed. The Greg Smith and Clark
Fobes mouthpieces i used to play for a while worked well with V-12 3.5's.
The Selmer and Vandoren mouthpieces i've played worked best with Eb reeds,
or Bb Whitemaster or Blackmaster reeds. My Kaspar that i play now, works
best with Eb reeds, but if i need to play extensive altissimo, i'll use a
Whitemaster.

I have actually found that playing on Bb clarinet reeds on the Eb clarinet
provides a better sound and more consistency across the board. You can
either use your reed knife to gut out the reed at the bottom so it can fit
on the mouthpiece, or slice it in half. I have tried Eb clarinet reeds on
my Eb clarinet, but have not been satisfied nor convinced that they are
superior to good, solid Bb clarinet reeds.
Food for thought.
