Though I don't find flame wars very pleasant, I am appreciative that this
list is as it is (without censorship). As long as the flamers don't
overwhelm the bandwidth of the list, I can always filter out posters I'm not
interested in reading.

A long time back it was pretty much decided that this list should be
unmoderated. With one exception no one has even been excluded from the list,
and even then it was for a short time. I hesitate as always to reject any
members. The list requires valid emails to join, so people can't hide from
their posts.....
