"I would really like to see you and Tony play a basset horn duet, with each
of you playing a long improvized cadenza at some point. Perhaps
improvizing in the styles to illustrate many of the 'opinions' we have
read about on the list concerning improv. Maybe have the 'event' in a
mock wrestling arena with the best player eventually declared the
'champion' of basset horn playing. Maybe cyberspace will offer options
like that someday. We could all punch in our votes."

Thanks Annie for finding humor in a scene that has made this list extremely
dull and undesireable.

And, er, I din't mean anything by "ole'" in the subject. ;-)
