Can I assume that this is not directed to me? I can't think of anything more
responsible than asking for a return to the purpose of this forum, and to
ask for more tolerance, and less puerility.

I concede that I am being predictable, in that I cannot abide such behaviour
on what was (and is supposed to be) a *civil* discussion on clarinet-related
topics, and have voiced this before.

Again I ask that we get back to the matter in hand. I do not intend to
propagate this discussion any further, and therefore will not respond to any
more posts on this "quotes and other stuff" thread. Flame away, then, if you
think it appropriate. I promise not to rise to it.
