A newspaper article has answered my question:

"San Marcos High School has a prize-winning marching band, 120 strong.
It was all set to compete last night [at a major competition instead of
playing at the football game], but the rental outfit that was to supply
trucks to haul equipment [....] despite prior arrangements [....] had no
trucks on hand. So band director Dan Garske arranged for a moving
company to haul the gear. Alas [the moving truck] broke down and the
band couldn't compete. =A0 'It was a nightmare,' he said, 'the kids were
pretty bummed.' @-----. =A0 It's time to
buy a semi-trailer, Mr. Garske feels."
