....and since Revelli (mentioned in Ed Lacy's story about Lee Harvey
Oswald) was a band leader, this comment is therefore on topic:

I went to a high school football game tonight, and there was no marching
band. The cheerleaders danced to CDs instead.

I don't care what they say, football just isn't the same without a
marching band.
