Subject: [kl] Eaton International Bb Clarinet

The key work you refer to on the Eaton was actually used back in the 20s
and 30s on some of the better Harry Pedler clarinets. I have one in my
collection like this that also has a 7th ring and is all hard rubber in lieu
of wood or plastic. Though I haven't actualy seen the new Eatons (only
pictures), they are probably far superior to the old Pedlers. Having it
padded in the Houston area brings two folks to mind. One is John Butler and
the other Fred Freeman. Both very capable of high quality work on quality
clarinets.
