No. And if that were the case, I'd totally agree with you. It's just
that lots of people play the Prestige, because they find that they can
do what they want to do on it, and mostly it doesn't fall apart:-).

I don't myself own one, and very often play on an R13; but that's for
quite different reasons than the behaviour of the middle tenon.

No, it wasn't at all intended as a dig at anyone.

That it now seems to have provoked a dig at me, for what I suggest are
historical reasons, is neither here nor there.
