I've played and will play the Sutermeister on my recital coming up in
April (anyone in the St Louis area interested in attending? :D ). It's a
great piece, and in it's own quirky way it shows off the expressive,
melodic side of the instrument, along with its spasmodic qualities. When
I played it at school, I had sooo many people come up to me after and
say how much they enjoyed listening. They all said that the contrast in
character was refreshing and delightfully unexpected! I agree!
