If you're referring to my suggestion -- and I suspect you are -- that a
(perhaps) potentially wobbly middle tenon joint is a trivial reason to
choose one make of clarinet over another, then I can't agree with you.
And if you look at the complete post as opposed to Roger's
out-of-context extract, that was what I was saying.

If I enter my house at night, and can't see, it is a trivial action to
turn on the lights. De-wobbling the middle tenon joint of a Prestige
clarinet is trivial in that sense.

Notice that I am not suggesting that I can manage equally well in the
dark.
