Courtney,
Even if he isn't using the Suzuki books at school they are a great
resource and at least in VA are in the Solo and Ensemble list. They have
some exercises and tonalizations but contain many songs/solos. You would
need the Suzuki duet book which contains second parts for selected numbers
from Suzuki books one, two and three. You could also see what book he is
using- many of the books have ensemble material in the books themselves.
The Essential Elements books one and two both have several ensemble pieces
that the kids enjoy playing. As long as you don't mind transposing there
are plenty of duet books available for 2 violins.
Best Wishes,
Anne
