Sorry, my language was sloppy. I should've added words to the
effect of: "or how he could believe...." But I have listened to the
CD, and I find it nearly impossible to imagine that he thinks it is good
bagpipe music.

You are correct that I shouldn't assume his motives or
preferences.... but if you had seen/heard him perform with pride, and
then compared his performance to what's on the CD....
