So J. S. sped up time with his "Goldberg Variations?" We should loth the
man for propelling us at too fast a pace for so many centuries. I'll
think of his audacity tomorrow morning when I awaken to Glen Gould's
resounding affirmation of one of God's children's most convincing and
delightful creations.
