Hi everyone,

Just had a lesson with a new student who has a nice
pure sound in legato, but even very slow with the
famous Langenus tonguing exercise a noticeable
constant hiss when articulating. We looked at air
intensity, embouchure pressure, angle of horn, height
of back of tongue and I checked for a physical air
leak (I found a minor one on one-side of her slightly
off-center embouchure). Any ideas/am I missing
something obvious? Thanks!
